Ripudaman Singh Malik was murdered on Thursday morning in Surrey, Canada. His family confirmed his death was on the scene Thursday morning, immediately after a gunshot in the Newton neighborhood killed a guy.

According to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), a police officer was summoned to 128 Street at 82 Avenue for complaints of shots fired and discovered the male at the scene.

As reported by Const. Sarbjit Sangha, the Canadian Sikh leader, was provided with the first treatment until paramedics arrived. However, they could not be saved because he was shot terribly. Malik died as a result of his injuries from the shooting.

According to the RCMP, this seems to be a targeted and well-planned murder. As per the information provided by the investigators, a car on fire was discovered around 82 Avenue and 120 Street.

The Canada-based businessman was acquitted in the 1985 Air India terrorist bombing. He was charged with mass murder and conspiracy in connection with the two Air India bombs that killed 331 people, mostly residents of Toronto and Vancouver, which were dropped against Malik and his co-accused, Ajaib Singh Bagri, in 2005.

The two attempted plane attacks were part of a larger worldwide terrorist plot. Air India Flight 301 was scheduled to fly from Japan with the first bomb, but it exploded before it could be loaded. The second bomb was successfully mounted aboard Air India Flight 182. However, he was found not guilty in the 1985 bombing of Air India Flight 182 by the British Columbia Supreme Court in Vancouver.

In accordance with information by police, they have not arrested anyone in the acquisition of killing Ripudaman yet. They believe the suspect may have utilized another car to flee. The investigation of Ripudaman's murder case is going on presently. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has now taken up the matter. They are hoping to find the culprit very soon.

The police department and investigations have requested the public to provide any information related to the case and help them find the murderer. They have asked to give cam footage or surveillance video from the shooting location.
